May New York Cotton is trading at 77.14, up 0.36 cents/lb.

July New York Cotton is trading at 78.04, up 0.18 cents/lb.

New York cotton futures are trading steady after Thursday's very choppy trading session.

The USDA reported on Thursday that cotton export sales as of February 23rd are now 93.8 percent of the agency forecast versus the five year average of 87.8 percent.
