Live Cattle Futures Little Higher
April live cattle is trading at 115.72, up 0.37 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 105.90,up 0.27 cents/lb
Live cattle futures are trading steady to higher just after the open.
Tuesday's USDA cattle slaughter was 115,000 head versus 110,000 head a year ago. The USDA cattle slaughter for the week is now 229,000 head versus a year ago at 215,000 head.
