Monday's USDA cattle slaughter was 116,000 head versus 111,000 head a year ago.

April live cattle is trading at 117.65, up 0.05 cents/lb. June live cattle is trading at 108.05, up 0.55 cents/lb. August live cattle is trading at 103.55, up 0.50 cents/lb.
