Options Outlook for the Week of December 2: Markets Held Up Through Thanksgiving

Markets have held up well through the short Thanksgiving week.

Given the strength of the banks and the light volume all around, markets most likely will just expand range into the last bit of the year here. It is very unlikely that the big boys will be shifting positions into the end of the year.

Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) has made a solid move to the upside and most likely will continue further, but buying this high is pretty tough, so the recommendation would be to consider selling puts.

Watch the banks for any signs of weakness, otherwise let them support the market and focus on trading the techs to the long side with any dips.

Again, it's pretty tough to buy this high, so selling puts via spreads would be the best idea until the big rug pull comes.

Check out the video below for a recap of this week's outlook.
