Glenn Beck Launching Groupon Clone
Glenn Beck is getting into the daily deals game, by launching his own website, writes Mashable.
Mercury Radio Arts, the production company that Glenn Beck controls, has launched MarkDown.com. It is almost identical to the other daily deal sites, like Groupon, and LivingSocial, but it also offers a referral system.
For example, if a user refers a friend to the site, and the friend buys something, the user gets a 10% promotion. “Markdown is a place where I will be able to connect you directly with the products and retailers that I love,” Beck said on his website. “…But, best of all, Markdown is a place where my personal slogan and values will be brought to life.”
