Google And Apple To Do Well; CNBC (CSCO, GOOG, AAPL, TKLC, VOLT)
Tech stocks have seen a rebound after last week’s meltdown. Speaking with CNBC, Ronal Gruia, principal telecom analyst at Frost & Sullivan, discussed whether the tech sector would lead the market out of a correction.
Gruia opined that there are indications that companies are increasing their capital expenditures and this should lead to resurgence in the tech sector. He said, “So we’re going to see the back end loaded this year, with operators spending a lot of money in the second half of the year.”
Gruia’s top picks in the sector are Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO), Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) and Google (NASDAQ: GOOG). His other picks include Tekelec (NASDAQ: TKLC) and Voltaire (NASDAQ: VOLT).
