Market Fundamentals Are Still Strong

Stephen Wood, chief market strategist at Russell Investments, is of the opinion that investors should focus on the long-term. In an interview with CNBC, he expressed his opinion on market volatility. He said, “This doesn’t do anything to improve investor confidence and this is where strategic asset allocation and long-term discipline allows investors to iron out short-term volatility.”

However, Wood said that the market fundamentals are still intact. He shared his views on the global economy. According to him, “We still have an economy that’s growing slowly, core Europe’s doing ok and Asia’s slowing down.”
