Jon Najarian Thinks That Goldman Sachs (GS) Is Going To Beat Estimates

Share:

On CNBC's Fast Money, Jon Najarian said that Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS) will post better than expected earnings on Tuesday. He expects Goldman Sachs (GS) to beat earnings by at least a buck.

Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) and JPMorgan (NYSE: JPM) failed to impress investors with their earnings results, and their trading revenue wasn't good. Jon Najarian explained that people should not be discouraged by that, because Goldman Sachs (GS) has the best traders in the world.

Guy Adami commented that he is discouraged by the results from BAC and JPM. He doesn't believe that Goldman Sachs (GS) is going to beat estimates, and even if it does better than Meredith Whitney forecasted it will still be heading lower.

Whitney Tilson said that he owns Goldman Sachs (GS), but not because he expects Goldman (GS) to beat earnings estimates. He thinks that Goldman Sachs (GS) is going to emerge out of this situation as a premiere bank that has to be owned. He didn't say what are his expectations about earnings.
