Hulu May Launch Paid Version : CEO Tells CNBC (DIS, NWS, GE)

Online Video Site Hulu reached a milestone in December last. The site has now streamed over a billion videos.

Hulu is jointly owned by Disney (NYSE: DIS) , News Corp. (NASDAQ: NWS), NBC Universal (NYSE: GE) and Providence Equity Partners. Talking with CNBC, Hulu CEO Jason Kilar talked about the company’s growth, but refused to answer any questions about the site’s profitability. The Hulu CEO acknowledged that the company is looking to launch a paid model, however he assured that the free version of the site will also be maintained.
