Chesapeake Energy CEO Talks To Cramer (CHK)
Aubrey McLendon, CEO of Chesapeake Energy (NYSE: CHK), just appeared on the noon segment of Mad Money with Jim Cramer. McLendon said that while his company will always be primarily a natural gas producer, they have recently shifted some of their resources into the oil exploration and production space. He said that they are "playing the economics between oil and natural gas," and that right now oil is more profitable.
McLendon also said that his company has hauled in $4 billion in cash from its hedging activities. In today's trading session, Chesapeake Energy (CHK) has lost 2.62% and is trading at $26.39.
