Steve Wynn, the casino magnate, has said that he is planning to build a third major casino in Macau. On Wednesday, during an interview with CNBC to promote the launch of Encore Macau, Wynn said that he is considering relocating the headquarters of Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ: WYNN) from Las Vegas to Macau.

It has been reported that Wynn Resorts gets about 60 percent of its total revenue from its Macau operations and its local unit, Wynn Macau, is one of the six licensed casino operators in that region. The Encore hotel and casino, which was opened on Wednesday, was described by Wynn as a “boutique hotel” meant for high fliers.
