Update: Radware Skyrockets on Takeover Rumors (RDWR, HPQ, IBM)

Shares of Radware Ltd. (NASDAQ: RDWR) are skyrocketing mid-day, currently trading at $36.37, higher by 30.5% on the session. This comes after sources for “Globes” said that the company is in talks with either Hewlett Packard (NYSE: HPQ) or IBM (NYSE: IBM) to be taken over.

The expected value of the deal will be around $945 million, reflecting $45 per share and a 60% premium on the share price. The company's share price has not been that high since 2000 at the height of the high-tech boom.

Radware Ltd. develops, manufactures and markets integrated networking solutions that allow its enterprise and carrier customers to deliver their mission critical applications between data centers and remote locations, over all critical points in the network. Radware solutions, in all situations, include both Application Delivery and Network Security solutions.
