iOS 4.2 – Apple's First Piece Of Vaporware?

If the reports are accurate, Apple's (NASDAQ: AAPL) iOS 4.2 won't be arriving this Friday as originally planned. The reason: there are some lingering WiFi connection issues that need to be ironed out. Now the update may not be released till much later in the month.

Consequently, CNNMoney speculates that Steve Jobs may have previewed iOS 4.2 prematurely to combat the fresh wave of iPad competitors.
