AIG Dropping Sharply (AIG)

Shares of American International Group, Inc. (NYSE: AIG) are dropping sharply today, down more than 4% on heavy volume.

Benzinga has heard that supposedly Bruce Berkowitz is moving out of the name, but nothing has been confirmed as on now.

Berkowitz, through his fund, Fairholme Capital is the second largest AIG shareholder, behind the U.S. government.

American International Group provides insurance and related services in the United States and internationally.
