Obama: "It Was A Matter Of Seeing How Khaddafy Would React To The Warning I Issued"
During a press conference this afternoon, President Obama said that before striking Khaddafy, “we had done all the work” to prepare for the situation.
“It was a matter of seeing how Khaddafy would react to the warning I issued on Friday,” Obama said, adding that when Khaddafy continued to act aggressively, “We decided to move forward.”
The President also spoke about the no-fly zone over Libya, saying that the Arab league called for a no-fly zone before the U.S. took action.
