Oracle President Safra Catz to Assume Role as Oracle's CFO (ORCL)
Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ: ORCL) announced today that Oracle President Safra Catz will assume the additional responsibility of Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Catz's appointment follows the resignation of the company's current CFO, Jeff Epstein, who reported directly to Ms. Catz. The company announced Ms. Catz's appointment is permanent and is effective immediately. "Safra already has the long-standing confidence of our employees, our Board and our shareholders," said Oracle CEO Larry Ellison. "There is no more logical choice for CFO."
