Tetra Tech Acquires Chilean Mining Services Firm Metalica Consultores; Terms Not Disclosed

Tetra Tech, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTEK) announced today that it has acquired engineering firm Metalica Consultores, S.A. of Santiago, Chile. This is Tetra Tech's first acquisition in Latin America. Metalica has about 60 employees and provides consulting engineering services to mining and natural resources companies.

Metalica was formed about 20 years ago and provides mine planning, feasibility studies, mine operations support, and industrial process engineering services in Chile and throughout Latin America. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Metalica is joining Tetra Tech's Engineering and Consulting Services business segment.
