Apple Regains Pre-Jobs Resignation Levels In Two Days

Share:

The market was clearly discounting Steve Jobs' health and the fact that he might resign his role as CEO of Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) at any time. It is starting to look more and more like a non-issue for the stock in the near-term.

On Wednesday, AAPL shares closed at around $376.10. In the after hours, when Jobs announced that he was leaving his CEO job, the stock traded down to as low as $350.00. Congratulations to the traders who bought shares near that level.

On Thursday, AAPL has already easily surpassed where it was trading at prior to Jobs' announcement. The stock is currently up 2.35% to $382.46 and near its high for the session.
