E*Trade Reports 57% Surge In August Average Trading Volume

E*Trade Financial Corp (NASDAQ: ETFC) reported a 57% y/y surge in its average trading volume in August.

E*Trade's daily average revenue trades for the month climbed 34% from July to 193,546. Total customer assets gained 18% y/y to $172.8 billion, but dropped 5.4% on a sequential basis.

ETFC shares dropped 0.84% to $10.65 in pre-market trading.
