Fox Business Reports Wall Street Is "Bracing For Another Round Of Insider Trading Charges"
FOX Business Network (FBN) Senior Correspondent Charlie Gasparino reports that “lawyers who work for some of the people under scrutiny” for insider trading are “bracing for another round charges.” Gasparino went on to say the charges are “likely to be criminal because the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District Preet Bharara is leading this probe.” Excerpts from the report are below, courtesy of Fox Business Network. On the government probe into insider trading:
“Sources close to the regulatory authorities are telling the FOX Business Network that lawyers who work for some of the people under scrutiny; traders, people at these ‘expert networks' that supply detailed information to traders at hedge funds are bracing for another round of insider trading charges. They are likely to be criminal because the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District [of New York] Preet Bharara is leading this probe…Spokesmen for the Security and Exchange Commission and the FBI declined to comment.”
