If Starbucks Can Put a Little Wang on its Shirts, Just Think of What Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky Could Do

Stained coffee marks are only the beginning.

This week, Starbucks (NASDAQ: SBUX) announced that it had really made a mess of itself by teaming with designer Alexander Wang to produce a series of splotchy T-shirts for style-seeking women everywhere. Priced at $85 per shirt (the cost of nearly 20 cups of Starbucks coffee), the new designs are the perfect way for snobs to show their love of large brown stains without going through the trouble of spilling a cup of coffee.

But why stop there? I'm sure Huggies and a couple of these little guys could make a whole line of stained shirts:

In fact, Huggies is owned by Kimberly-Clark (NYSE: KMB), the maker of Cottonelle, a product my friend refers to as “non-skid.” Can you imagine the shirts they could come up with?

That's just the beginning.

In this picture, a real baby (not a trained actor) went through the arduous process of self-staining. Considering how popular this trend is among babies all across the country, you'd think that the Olive Garden would have caught on by now and started selling small T-shirts with spaghetti stains already on them.

And what about Bill Clinton and his famous intern? Between Clinton's success as our former President and Monica Lewinsky's success as a fashion designer, something tells me they could design a piece of clothing (a blue dress, perhaps) that would take the world by storm.
