Zings Of The Day October 12, 2011

Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) is reconsidering its plan to spin off its PC division, as the costs may outweigh the benefits. HP is flipflopping. Must be why they hired Meg Whitman to be their new CEO. Remember, she ran for California Governor.

Research in Motion (NASDAQ: RIMM) is in its third day of Blackberry service disruption. Today is the same day that Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) is releasing its new operating system, iOS 5. That's not gonna be good for business.
