Siri Comes to Original iPhone 4 Via Hacker, Loses Voice Recognition in the Process

Proof that Siri doesn't have to be an iPhone 4S exclusive.

9to5mac has been working exclusively with a developer by the name of Steven Troughton-Smith to port Siri to the original iPhone 4.

Thus far, he has been successful – but only in terms of the user interface. 9to5mac has posted a couple of videos to demonstrate his work thus far:

To get the voice recognition features to work, Troughton-Smith will need to find a way to get a special GPU driver onto his iPhone 4. 9to5mac says that it is working with him to improve the port.
