Norway Total Oil, Gas Production Declines 5% In 2011

Norway's total oil and gas production dropped 5% to 218.7 million cubic meters of oil equivalent in 2011, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate said.

Norwegian crude oil production declined to 97.3 million cubic meters, or 1.7 million barrels a day, versus 104.4 million standard meters in 2010.

Norwegian natural gas sales dropped to 101.3 billion cubic meters. However, crude oil production declined to 97.3 million standard cubic meters, versus 104.4 million standard cubic meters in 2010. Natural gas sales dropped to 101.3 billion standard cubic meters.
