Semiconductor Sales Rise 3.4% In April Over March

Worldwide semiconductor sales climbed 3.4% in April versus March, according to the Semiconductor Industry Association.

Semiconductor sales dropped 2.9% y/y to $24.1 billion. Sales climbed 5.6% in the Americas, gained 5.4% in the Asia Pacific region, and rose 1.8% in Europe over a three month moving average. However, sales dropped 1.8% in Japan.
