Euro-Zone Composite PMI Surges To 46.4 In June

Private-sector activity across the euro zone contracted in June, according to the Markit composite purchasing managers' index.

The index climbed to 46.4, versus 46.0 in May and up from a preliminary June reading of 46.0.

The services index surged to 47.1 in June, versus 46.7 in May and up from the preliminary estimate of 46.8.
