Australia Posts Wider July Trade Deficit
Australia reported a wider trade deficit in July.
On a seasonally adjusted basis, Australia's trade deficit widened to 556 million Australian dollars ($571.7 million), from A$227 million in June.
The country's exports dropped 3%, while imports fell 1%, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics showed.
Economists were expecting a trade deficit of A$300 million in July.
