The Verge Reports Google to Announce 'Android TV'

Google <(NASDAQ: GOOG) is preparing to take on Apple TV (NASDAQ: AAPL), Roku and the new Amazon Fire TV (NASDAQ: AMZN), according to a report from The Verge. According to documents obtained by the tech blog, Google has selected developers to create apps and games for the new platform.
