UPDATE: EMC, Hewlett-Packard Held Merger Talks

EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC) has held merger talks with with Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ), according to the New York Times. The talks have ended, according to sources. A merger of the two equals would create a company with a value of $129 billion.
