Twitter Falls Amid OTR Global Downgrade, Falling Ad Prices

Share:

Shares of Twitter Inc (NYSE: TWTR) fell Wednesday below the $38 level following the release of a note from OTR Global which cut its rating from Positive to Mixed.

OTR Global indicated that year-over-year growth “moderated slightly” in the fourth quarter to 85-90 percent and is expected to decelerate to 72-77 percent in the first quarter, as reported by Bloomberg.

The report added that media buyers have been disappointed in plateauing advertising results on the platform while checks have shown that ad pricing is falling.

Twitter recently traded at $37.71, down 3.1 percent.
