GoPro Attachments Banned At Music Festivals This Summer
Chicago's famed music festival Lollapalooza has banned GoPro Inc (NASDAQ: GPRO) attachments, including sticks, selfie sticks and monopods, according to its FAQ page. The move is the latest in a series of backlash against these attachments that have seen them banned at museums around the world and other concerts, including Coachella.
Lollapalooza also banned tripods, monopods and stools used to capture video, unless accompanied by an approved photo credentials.
GoPro is down more than 30 percent in 2015 as concerns over low-cost competition and a dismal earnings report have combined to pressure the stock's valuation. In March, the price has oscillated widely and is poised for a gain of more than 2 percent.
Shares were up more than 2 percent in Monday's pre-market session.
