TASER Shares Surge After 4 Marines Were Killed In Chattanooga Shooting
Four U.S. Marines were killed in shootings at two U.S. Navy buildings in Chattanooga, Tennessee, around 11 a.m. EST Thursday.
At first, the U.S. Navy had denied the shooting reports, but then corrected their statement via Twitter, acknowledging the casualties. The suspected shooter (the same one in both locations) was killed -after both shootings- by the local police.

According to U.S. Attorney Bill Killian, the killings are being investigated, considered as an “act of domestic terrorism.” However, FBI special agent in charge of the investigation, Ed Reinhold, said the nature of the crime was not yet determined.
"We are looking at every possible avenue, whether it was terrorism -- whether it was domestic, international -- or whether it was a simple, criminal act,” he declared.
Shares of TASER International, Inc. (NASDAQ: TASR) surged 4.28 percent amid the news.
