Coach's New Board Member Is A Chinese Consumer And Media Expert

Coach Inc (NYSE: COH) announced on Monday the appointment of Annabelle Yu Long to the company's Board of Directors.

Long currently serves as Chief Executive of Bertelsmann China Corporate Center and as a Managing Partner of Bertelsmann Asia Investments.

Coach's CEO, Victor Luis, commented that Long's "strong business acumen, insight about the Chinese consumer and knowledge of and experience with the media landscape in China, coupled with her track record of investing in digital and lifestyle companies, will bring unique value to the Coach board."

"I am excited to be joining the Board of Directors of one of the most respected brands in the world," Long said. "I look forward to supporting Coach and its strategies to transform into a leading luxury lifestyle brand and drive long-term sustainable growth."

Shares of Coach were trading lower by 0.56 percent at $33.45 early Tuesday morning and have lost nearly 9 percent over the past year.
