Index Shuffling: F.N.B. Corp To Replace Rent-A-Center In MidCap 400 Index, Surgical Care Affiliates To Replace Constant Contact In S&P SmallCap 600 Index
S&P Dow Jones Indices announced after Tuesday's market close it will make the following changes to the indices it manages.
F.N.B. Corp (NYSE: FNB) will replace Rent-A-Center Inc (NASDAQ: RCII) in the S&P MidCap 400 index after the close of trading on Friday. F.N.B recently acquired Metro Bancorp Inc and the market capitalization of the combined entity will be more representative of the mid-cap market space.
Rent-A-Center is ranked near the bottom of the S&P MidCap 400 index and will be moved to the S&P SmallCap 600 index.
Surgical Care Affiliates Inc (NASDAQ: SCAI) will replace Constant Contact Inc. in the S&P SmallCap 600 index after the close of trading on Thursday. Endurance International Group Hldgs Inc (NASDAQ: EIGI)'s acquisition of Constant Contact was completed on Tuesday.
