'Deathly Ill' Chipotle Customer Is Hurting The Stock Yet Again
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG)'s stock has tumbled nearly 40 percent over the past year and the latest report of another illness linked to its restaurants is likely to put additional pressure on the stock.
Author Eric Van Lustbader, best known for continuing the "Jason Borne" franchise since 2004, tweeted on Thursday that his editor "ended up in urgent care after being deathly ill all night from eating at Chipotle's."

The author added his editor was sent to the emergency room where she spent seven hours. The doctors suspected the illness was related to "unsan food handling."

"I have not heard any reports of illness associated with any of our restaurants but will look into this," a Chipotle spokesperson Chris Arnold told Business Insider.
Shares of Chipotle were trading lower by nearly 3 percent at $391.19 after nearly 90 minutes of trading on Thursday.
