Pokémon Go Turns X-Rated

It was bound to happen. Someone figured out how to turn Nintendo Co., Ltd (ADR) (OTC: NTDOY)'s wildly popular Pokémon Go mobile game into an X-rated adventure.

According to CNN Money, users are sharing nude pictures of themselves with Pokémon characters superimposed in strategic places. Other users are taking photos of themselves engaged in sexual activities with a Pokémon character lurking in the background.

The Pokémon game uses augmented reality technology and superimposes the characters in the real world using a smartphone's camera.

Yes, it's worth repeating: Pokémon Go nudes is a very real thing and there is a Reddit community dedicated to the topic.

Meanwhile, shares of Nintendo's U.S.-listed ADR were trading lower on Wednesday by around 4 percent at $26.38. The success and popularity of the game sent shares roaring higher to 52-week highs of $30.25. Despite the decline, shares are still higher by more than 50 percent since the start of 2016.
