L Brands Releases Comps Figures, Updates Guidance
- L Brands Inc (NYSE: LB) says its Q3 earnings will come in around $0.40 per share, at the low end of its previous guidance of $0.40-$0.45 per share. The Street was modeling EPS of $0.46.
- Management says October comparable sales will be up 1 percent, as a 2 percent decline in Victoria’s Secret will be offset by a 6 percent surge at Bath & Body Works.
- Investor Update Meeting will be held on Tuesday.
- Shares of L Brands were trading down more than 5.1 percent in Monday’s after-hours session.
