Fiat Chrysler's October U.S. Sales Fell 10%
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (NYSE: FCAU) reported its October 2016 U.S. sales data on Tuesday. Here is Fiat Chrysler's sales report for the prior month.
- Fiat Chrysler sold a total of 176,609 units in October.
- Total October sales were 10 percent lower compared to October 2015.
- Ram Truck sales rose 12 percent in October on strong sales of the Ram ProMaster.
- Jeep brand sales were down seven percent but the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Patriot saw year-over-year gains in October.
- Dodge brand sales were lower by 16 percent in October even though the Dodge Journey saw a 17 percent year-over-year sales gain.
- Dodge Viper sales rose two percent.
- FIAT brand sales fell 24 percent in October even though sales of the Fiat 500 rose eight percent year-over-year.
- Fiat's new 124 Spider sold 444 units in its fourth month in the market.
- Chrysler sales were lower by 45 percent in October.
- Sales of the all-new 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, voted best minivan of 2016 by Cars.com, sold 7,758 units in October.
Shares traded recently at $7.36, up about 0.5 percent.
