UPDATE: Geico Is Paying For Tesla Repairs At Arizona Service Centers, Automaker Says

Tesla Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) electric vehicles insured by Geico are being repaired at the automaker's service centers in the Phoenix, Arizona area, according to the automaker. 

Tesla authorized collision centers in the Phoenix area are servicing Geico customers and are making dozens of repairs paid by Geico, the automaker said Tuesday. 

Benzinga has removed an Oct. 1 article based on a since-deleted story on the website Teslarati regarding Geico's payment for Tesla repairs at Phoenix-area service centers and apologizes for the error.
