Boeing, Seagate, Chipotle And Other Big Losers From Wednesday

U.S. stocks closed mostly lower on Wednesday, with the Nasdaq Composite dropping over 200 points. Here is the list of some big stocks recording losses in the previous session.

  • Stride, Inc. (NYSE: LRN) shares tumbled 29.4% to settled at $32.86 following weak quarterly earnings.
  • CTS Corporation (NYSE: CTS) declined 17.8% to close at $36.17 after reporting Q3 results.
  • Constellium SE (NYSE: CSTM) fell 15.1% to close at $10.97 following Q3 results.
  • TriNet Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: TNET) fell 14.2% to close at $65.68 after the company reported worse-than-expected Q3 sales results.
  • Spotify Technology S.A. (NYSE: SPOT) dropped 13% to close at $84.42 following Q3 results.
  • Manhattan Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ: MANH) declined 11.4% to close at $118.34 following the company's Q3 financial results.
  • Mr. Cooper Group Inc. (NASDAQ: COOP) fell 11.4% to settle at $39.55 following Q3 results.
  • Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation (NYSE: ZWS) dropped 11% to settle at $22.34 following downbeat sales.
  • Assurant, Inc. (NYSE: AIZ) fell 10.5% to close at $136.75 after the company reported preliminary Q3 2022 financial results.
  • UMB Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: UMBF) dropped 10.3% to settle at $80.16 after the company reported worse-than-expected Q3 EPS and sales results.
  • Skechers U.S.A., Inc. (NYSE: SKX) shares fell 9.8% to close at $32.41 after the company reported weak earnings and issued guidance below analyst estimates.
  • Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) shares dropped 9.6% to close at $94.82 after the company reported weaker-than-expected earnings results for its third quarter after the closing bell on Tuesday. YouTube and Network revenue were down on a year-over-year basis, bringing overall Google Ad revenue to $54.48 billion, up from last year’s $53.13 billion.
  • Navient Corporation (NASDAQ: NAVI) fell 9.5% to settle at $14.45 following weak quarterly earnings.
  • HashiCorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: HCP) dropped 9.2% to close at $30.83.
  • The Boeing Company (NYSE: BA) fell 8.8% to settle at $133.79 following Q3 earnings. The company said its path to recovery is taking longer than expected due to a challenging macro environment.
  • Seagate Technology Holdings plc (NASDAQ: STX) dropped 8% to close at $53.39 after the company reported worse-than-expected Q1 EPS and sales results and issued Q2 adjusted EPS and sales guidance below estimates.
  • Avery Dennison Corporation (NYSE: AVY) dropped 7.8% to close at $163.24 after the company narrowed FY22 guidance.
  • Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) shares fell 7.7% to close at $231.32. Microsoft posted better-than-expected earnings for its first quarter. Revenue for the Microsoft Cloud segment was $25.7 billion in the first quarter, up 24%% year-over-year.
  • Canon Inc. (NYSE: CAJ) dropped 7.4% to close at $21.32 after the company reported Q3 EPS and sales results were lower year over year.
  • Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. (NYSE: CMG) declined 6.8% to settle at $1,476.03 after the company reported slightly lower-than-expected Q3 sales.
  • KBR, Inc. (NYSE: KBR) fell 5.1% to close at $46.52 after the company reported worse-than-expected Q3 sales and narrowed FY22 revenue guidance.
