MrBeast On How You Can 10x Your YouTube Subscribers

For emerging YouTubers, Jimmy Donaldson, more prominently known as MrBeast, has some prolific insights about how to take their channels to the next level. 

What Happened: MrBeast, the social media icon behind one of the largest Alphabet Inc.'s (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL) YouTube channel with 128 million subscribers, has some interesting insights for upcoming and emerging creators and influencers.

While speaking with Lex Fridman on his podcast, MrBeast was asked, "What advice would you give to an already established channel with one, two, three, or four million subscribers? How to 10X it?"

Donaldson said there's no general advice or one golden rule that will apply to all channels because if there were, "everyone would do it."

However, he said creators know their viewers best and should go with their instincts to gauge what their audience might like. 

He said, "The biggest thing you have to do is put your head in the headspace of the viewer and see the content how they would because if you just try to only give your taste — which is what a lot of people do — and things from your perspective, it's very biased. It's just not going to work for everyone." 

He added that creating biased content could do more harm than good and it's something he is "very careful of." 

In 2022, MrBeast reigned as the number one creator on YouTube for the third consecutive year in a row. He was followed by NichLmao and Airrack.
