Discover the $5 iPhone screen repair hack that’s taking the internet by storm, courtesy of MrWhoseTheBoss. 

What Happened: Prominent tech YouTuber Arun Maini, popularly known by his YouTube channel MrWhoseTheBoss shared a video on the platform titled “$5 iPhone Repair Hack” — and it’s an ingenious solution that will blow the mind of every Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) user.

In the video, the YouTuber said he “accidentally dropped” his iPhone and the screen was smashed. “Apparently, this $5 windshield repair kit designed for broken glass on cars can fix it.” 

Step I: Remove Any Loose Glass Fragments 

The first step is to scrap over the break with a razor blade to remove all the loose glass fragments. 

Step II: Pour The Repair Liquid 

The YouTuber initially used suction cups at the epicenter of the crack, but considering the amount of breakage on the screen, he decided to just pour the repair liquid instinctively. 

Step III: Layer The Sheet 

The third step is to just layer the sheet over the liquid to apply even pressure. 

The YouTuber then removed the sheet and found that the solution worked, but not 100%. He said for just $5, the repair kit has made the damaged screen much better.
