Watch: Google Pixel Takes Shots At Apple iPhone In Its New Campaign, And It's Hilarious

Alphabet Inc.'s (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Google is back once again with an advertising campaign mocking the iPhone in a series of "Best Phones Forever" videos reminiscent of Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ:MSFT) and Apple's Mac vs PC ad campaigns. However, Google has chosen a slightly friendlier tone with its campaign.

What Happened: Google is back with its "Best Phones Forever" campaign that pits its Pixel phones against the iPhone, listing out several features that are available on Pixels but missing from iPhones.

Google has also mocked Apple for its refusal to adopt the Rich Communication Services (RCS) protocol and the ongoing blue bubble controversy.

The first video shows Google Assistant and Siri talking about stagnation – Siri is shown as being concerned about iMessage being the only remaining legacy of the iPhone.

It also touts the Pixel 7 Pro as being better at photography when compared to the iPhone 14 Pro, even as the Pixel tries to be friendly and calls the iPhone "legendary."

Google also pokes the iPhone for "sketchy" Wi-Fi connectivity and talks about features like reverse wireless charging, free VPN (for five years), and astrophotography. These videos are all minute-long, so you can burn through all five of them in five minutes.

Mac Vs PC All Over Again: The last time Google ran this campaign was back in 2019, pitting the iPhone X against the Pixel 3a. It's also reminiscent of Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ:MSFT) and Apple Inc.'s (NASDAQ:AAPL) Mac vs PC ad rivalry, which saw them both duke it out on TV, billboards, and elsewhere.
