Microsoft To Power Moody's Next-Generation Solutions With Azure OpenAI Service

Moody's Corp (NYSE: MCO) tapped Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ: MSFT) to deliver next-generation data, analytics, research, collaboration, and risk solutions for financial services and global knowledge workers. 

Built on a combination of Moody's data and analytical capabilities and the power and scale of Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, the partnership creates innovative offerings that enhance insights into corporate intelligence and risk assessment, powered by Microsoft AI and anchored by Moody's proprietary data, analytics and research.

The ratings and research firm activated its 14,000 global employees to drive experimentation and innovations across its suite of products and solutions.

OPenAI backer Microsoft saw a surge in demand from corporate customers for the Azure OpenAI service. Microsoft has reported that 2,000 new clients signed up for the service in the first half of the current quarter, Bloomberg reported. 

This week, SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) CEO Christian Klein expressed colossal growth potential in generative AI technology.

SAP had shared plans to deepen collaboration with Microsoft in joint generative AI projects.

Price Action: MCO shares traded higher by 0.75% at $344.14 on the last check Thursday.
