Trump's 'Unnamed' Co-Conspirators Likely To 'Flip' On Him To Cooperate With Prosecution, Experts Warn

Legal experts suggested that the large group of co-defendants and “unnamed co-conspirators” in Donald Trump‘s indictment may prefer “flipping” on him and cooperating with the prosecution, Business Insider reports.

Tristan Snell, the founder and managing partner of Main Street Law, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to highlight one such case: former Trump attorney Jenna Ellis.

“Breaking: Trump dumps Jenna Ellis, won’t pay any of her legal fees — because she’s been supportive of DeSantis. Watch Ellis carefully now. When Trump cuts someone off, it’s the tipping point that results in the person flipping on Trump. My bet: Ellis will cooperate,” he wrote.

In the recent indictment against former President Donald Trump and 18 others, about 30 “unnamed co-conspirators” were referenced. Experts suggest that these unnamed co-conspirators might feel compelled to cooperate with the prosecution against Trump in hopes of receiving shorter sentences or other legal benefits. This puts the prosecution in an advantageous position.

“I would anticipate cooperation. And whether that be cooperation before they get charged, or they get charged and then they cooperate —neither of those things would be surprising to me at all,” said Anna Cominsky, an associate professor at New York Law School, explaining that it’s not uncommon to see unindicted co-conspirators in such cases.
