iPhone 15 Pro Could Ditch Glitzy Gold For Titanium Elegance: What You Need To Know

Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) upcoming iPhone 15 Pro model could bid farewell to its iconic gold finish, opting instead for the pizzazz of a sleek titanium exterior

What Happened: Apple might be preparing for a significant design departure with its next-generation iPhone 15 Pro model, set to be unveiled this September

According to 9To5Mac, the gold-colored option, Cupertino’s signature style since the iPhone XS in 2018, will no longer grace the iPhone 15 Pro lineup.

Instead, the Tim Cook-led tech giant could embrace titanium, which will positively impact the aesthetics and make the device lighter compared to its stainless steel predecessor.

In place of the gold hue, Apple aficionados can anticipate a fresh, sophisticated gray finish that expresses the natural vibe of titanium. In addition, a new dark blue color will take center stage, replacing the previous deep purple option and becoming the standout color of the year for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models.

For those eyeing the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models, the tech giant is expected to offer a palette of five vibrant choices: black, green, blue, yellow, and pink. As per the tradition, Apple may also introduce an additional color to this lineup in the spring, the report noted.

Why It’s Important: Previously, it was reported that the iPhone 15 Pro would start at $1,099 and the iPhone 15 Pro Max at $1,199, an increase of $100 each.

The upcoming iPhone lineup could reportedly launch on Sept. 12 at an in-person event at Apple Park in Cupertino, California.

However, there have been some reports about potential delays
