From Almost Free To $1,000 Off: US Wireless Giants Lure Subscribers With Wild iPhone 15 Promos

Top U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T), T-Mobile US Inc. (NASDAQ:TMUS), and DISH Network Corp. (NASDAQ:DISH), have rolled out a series of promotions aimed at attracting new subscribers following Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPLiPhone 15 launch.

What Happened: On Tuesday, Apple launched its latest iPhone series comprising four variants: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. While the lineup has been hailed for coming up with several major upgrades, the price tags of these smartphones can make users hesitant to buy.

Enter U.S. wireless providers, who are providing the models almost free or with discounts of up to $1,000 and even offering complimentary annual upgrades, reported Bloomberg.

AT&T’s Generous Offer

AT&T is giving away the iPhone 15 to both new and existing customers who opt for one of AT&T’s unlimited data plans and trade in their eligible devices. Moreover, the carrier is also offering a substantial $1,000 credit toward the iPhone 15 Pro.

T-Mobile’s Competitive Move

Customers opting for T-Mobile’s top-tier Go5G plans and trading in an eligible device can snag a free iPhone 15 Pro or receive a $1,000 credit toward any iPhone 15 model.

DISH Network’s Entry

DISH Network has bundled the iPhone 15 with a $60 monthly Boost Infinite membership plan. This offer promises customers an annual free iPhone upgrade and includes an unlimited data plan with the caveat of throttling after reaching 30GB of data usage.

Dish is also providing a $1,000 credit for more expensive iPhone models.

Verizon’s Upcoming Announcement

Verizon Communications Inc (NYSE:VZ), while not revealing its iPhone 15 promotion just yet, is expected to join the competition soon, intensifying the battle for subscribers, the report noted.

Why It’s Important: All variants of the iPhone 15 series are the same in terms of prices and storage as their predecessors, except for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which commences at a slightly higher price point of $1,119 but offers 256GB of storage in its base configuration.

Having said that, the prices still might not be considered budget-friendly.
