Jimmy Kimmel Takes Another Swipe At Donald Trump Jr, Labeling Him 'Embarrassing': 'A Very Dumb Crime Family'

In his latest show, comedian Jimmy Kimmel has taken another swing at Donald Trump Jr, the son of former U.S. President Donald Trump, calling him ’embarrassing’ and his family a ‘crime family.’

What Happened: Kimmel backed protesters who were chanting ‘crime family’ at Trump Jr. on Monday during the New York Civil Fraud Trial testimony, HuffPost reported.

“That is basically what these people are, a crime family,” Kimmel stated on his late-night talk show, adding, “A very dumb crime family.”

While on trial for civil fraud in New York, Trump Jr. spoke about his father’s real estate expertise.

Kimmel responded sarcastically to Trump Jr.’s remark, saying, “Yeah, he’s an artist. He’s Vincent Van Gogh-ing To Jail.”

Kimmel also took a dig at Trump Jr. and his brother Eric Trump, both of whom are executive vice presidents in their father’s company, after Trump attorney Alina Habba referred to them as “boys” and “kids.”

Kimmel mocked, “That’s right, they’re just boys. They’re kids. Eric has a book report due this weekend.”

Why It Matters: The comedian’s remarks come as no surprise, considering Kimmel’s history of making jokes about the Trump family. Notably, in an episode of the “Naked Lunch” podcast las year, Kimmel revealed that he would have left his late-night show on Walt Disney-owned ABC if he had been asked to stop making jokes about former President Trump.
