Afternoon Market Update (NAV, TYC, JASO)
Navistar International Corp (NYSE: NAV) shares fell about 3.74%, after the company reduced its revenue projections for 2010. The company lowered its outlook as the military truck orders were postponed. NAV is now projecting its 2010 revenue at around $12 billion. However, the analysts expected the sales of $12.45 billion.
The board of Tyco International Ltd (NYSE: TYC) has authorized a new buy back plan of the company's shares valued at up to $1 billion. Shares of TYC gained about 1.5% following the announcement.
JA Solar Holdings Co (NASDAQ: JASO) shares gained about 9.73% after the company entered into an agreement with many customers to supply more than 500 MW of solar cells in 2011. The stock has surged 72% in the previous year.
