Vail Resorts Shares Up 5% Following Earnings
Vail Resorts (NYSE: MTN) shares have been trending up since the market opened, after posting better-than-expected earnings and revenue for the quarter.
Vail reported net income for the quarter of $117.9 million, or $3.18 per share, an increase from the net income of $97.6 million from the same quarter last year. This beat analysts' estimates of earnings-per-share to $2.92 per share for the quarter.
Vail shares were last up 5.3 percent at $75.83 in Friday's session.
